Any Charges, Fees and Commissions
All charges (such as remittance charges, yen exchange charge, lifting charge, correspondent bank charge, and inward remittance charges, etc.) related to the payment of fees for the exhibition shall be borne by the Exhibitors. If there is a shortage in payment, the Exhibitors must pay TBSI, in addition to such shortage, actual costs necessary for clerical procedures up to JPY10,000.

2. Exhibition Application and Agreement

September 7 (Mon.), 2020 10:00 a.m. – September 30 (Wed.), 2020 11: 59 p.m. *Please note that applications will only be accepted during the above period. Applications are not accepted outside the above period Japan Time.
Exhibition Application
  1. Please make your application online via JIMTOF official website by using the "Exhibitor Application Form." No other method of application will be accepted. If you are a first-time exhibitor at JIMTOF, please submit documents with a summary of your exhibit items and your company information via post or email. (See “Classified list of Exhibits”)
  2. When a trading company or distributor applies as an exhibitor on behalf of a manufacturer, please submit a written agreement or authorization letter from the manufacturer of the products via post or email, at the time of the application. The format does not need to be standardized. Furthermore, if applying on behalf of an exhibitor etc. that is an overseas manufacturer, the written agreement or authorization letter must be in Japanese or English.
  3. The person making the application must have authority within the applicant organization for signing a contract to exhibit at this trade fair.
  4. Should any of the information provided on or with the application change at a later date, please notify the organizer (Tokyo Big Sight Inc.) as soon as possible and obtain its approval.

Notification of application acceptance and payment terms
After receipt of the application, Organizers will notify the applicant to that effect by the beginning of October 2020. Then, Organizers will send the applicant the invoice for exhibition fees, which the applicant shall remit to the specified bank account by the due date stated on the invoice. (Bank handling charges are the liability of the applicant.)
Cancellation or Modification of Application
Organizers will not accept cancellation or modification of the application after it is approved, except for the case in which Organizers exceptionally approve them after receipt of written requests from the applicant.
Exhibition Agreement
The agreement shall be formed at the time when Organizers notify the applicant by an email or other ways to that effect. If the Applicant fails to pay the exhibition fee by the prescribed due date and fails to respond to a demand from organizer, Organizer shall deem the applications for the exhibition and the exhibition agreement be cancelled. In this case, the applicant shall pay Organizers 100% of the exhibition fees as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation or Modification of Exhibition Agreement
Organizers will not accept cancellation or modification of the exhibition agreement after it is concluded, except for the case in which Organizers exceptionally approve them after receipt of written requests from the exhibitor. If Organizers approve the cancellation of the exhibition agreement from the exhibitor, the exhibitor must pay a cancellation fee as follows. Further, if the exhibition fee is reduced due to a change in the plan, the difference shall not be refunded.

If the exhibitor loses the qualification of Organizers’ member, the member of cooperating organizations or overseas associations, the agreement shall be automatically changed, and the status of the exhibitor shall be changed to the "Non-member". In this case, Organizers will additionally charge the exhibitor with the difference of the exhibition fees.
